Abortion is about murder, the killing of a baby in the womb. This is then the work of the enemy, the devil. “”The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” (John 10:10)
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8)
Murder is forbidden in the Ten Commandments. “You shall not kill” the sixth commandment (Exodus 20:13; Deuteronomy 5:17). The Bible reveals the heart of God. God’s word is truth (John 17:17) and God does not lie (Numbers 23:19)
God loves people (John 3:16) but hates the sin people commit. Murder is sin. Killing a human being is sin. Jesus says that murder is from the devil as that is his character and nature, All those desiring to kill and murder follow the devil’s nature and character. The baby is a human being and killing a human being is murder.
Listen to Jesus speaking, “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand on truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell you the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” (John 8:46, 47)
Jesus calls the devil a murderer. As believers in Jesus we must walk away from evil and murder of innocent babies who need only protection and nutritional food to survive.
Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.”
