A Call for Reformation
Why Reformation?
Reformation is the process of bringing change for the better through Understanding. The Church is in need of reformation – not in theology or doctrine but in its structure and practice.
A Return to the Acts Model
● The early church was a living organism empowered by the Holy Spirit, focused on evangelism, community living, and shared resources.
● Leadership facilitated growth but did not control the movement, believers were active participants in ministry.
● Communion, fellowship, and daily teaching were at the heart of early Christian life.
The Current Challenge
● Many churches have become rigid institutions, losing the organic, Spirit-led approach of the early church.
● Traditional church structures often stifle personal ministry, making believers passive consumers rather than active participants.
● The biblical model of the Church needs to be restored, allowing believers to function as the Body of Christ in full capacity.
Who Leads the Reformation?
● Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church and the ultimate authority for reformation.
● The Holy Spirit acts as the governor, guiding and overseeing the transformation of the Body of Christ.
The Practical Reformation We Need
1. Decentralized Ministry: Empowering believers to take an active role in ministry and evangelism.
2. Restoration of Biblical Practices: Encouraging communion, prayer, and fellowship beyond the walls of the church.
3. Church as a Movement, Not an Institution: Shifting focus from hierarchy and programs to Spirit-led, community-based faith.
Conclusion
The Biblical-Based Network stands at the forefront of a movement to restore the Church to its original, Spirit-led model. By reconnecting with biblical principles and embracing a bold, unashamed faith, we will see transformation in individuals, communities, and nations for the glory of God.
